There is no effect as such.. I just used the term masking because we are placing a white rectangle to mask the text outside the digital display board. Hope it is clear now.
Thank you for the comment... I have kept a png file instead of text here so that people who do not have the font also can see this the way I wanted it to. If you want to use the same file and just change the text, just type your text separate, right click, save as png... and the right click on my animation text and use the 'Change Picture' option to select your png file as the new text. Hope this helps...
